Scam artists perceive senior citizens as vulnerable and therefore they are often targets of a wide range of scams, exploitation and fraud. On March 16th the Wood Dale Police Department will bring in a speaker from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office for a seminar on this topic. They will provide information to ensure that senior citizens have the knowledge and tools they need to better protect themselves from con artists and deceptive practices. The seminar will be conducted on March 16, 2005 at 9:00 am at the City of Wood Dale Council Chambers. This seminar is open to seniors and anyone else interested in attending.
