The Wood Dale Police Department is divided into two divisions - Operations and Support Services.  

The Operations Division consists of the Patrol Unit, Canine program, and Law Enforcement Accreditation (CALEA).  

The Support Services Division consists of the Investigations Unit (Including the School Liaison program), the Records Unit, and other ancillary duties.
