The Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) confirmed EAB in the City of Wood Dale on Central Avenue on September 15, 2010.  In response, the City conducted a thorough parkway tree inventory, collecting data on the condition of all parkway ash trees.  Over 400 ash trees were identified as city owned ash trees.   

The City is currently in the process of removing the last of the remaining parkway ash trees and has begun to implement a reforestation program for those areas affected by removals.
