City of Wood Dale residents can have their voice heard on O’Hare noise on any of the four dates listed above. In particular, the City is encouraging large scale attendance at the August 12th meeting, and will be organizing roundtrip bus service for those residents interested. Bus service will be available to and from City Hall and at the Georgetown Shopping Mall from 1:00 pm -9:00 pm on August 12th. Trips to Monty’s Elegant Banquets will take place around the top of each hour; returning trips to City Hall and Georgetown Shopping Mall will take place at approximately the half of each hour.
The meetings will be workshop style with a room for the public to ask questions to the FAA and its consultants directly, with presentation boards depicting information contained in the Draft Re-Evaluation. There also will be a separate room with multiple court reporter stations for the public to provide verbal comments, on the record, after participating in the workshop.
