The Community Development Department is responsible for protecting the public health, safety and welfare of the City in all areas of building design, construction, and maintenance. The staff is responsible for all residential, commercial, and industrial permit application processing, plan review, inspection scheduling, field inspection operations, and 24-hour on-call emergency incident response.
